Oppose the Pornographic Sex-Ed Bill 

Liberals in the legislature have once again filed legislation HD 3454 and SD 2178 under the Health Curriculum Frameworks, which mandates a one-size-fits-all, graphic, sex-ed curriculum for every public school. 

This bill would force a state-mandated health curriculum on every public school in the Commonwealth, thereby eliminating choice for parents and autonomy for local schools on what their children would be taught with respect to sexuality, contraception and abortion. 

What’s in the frameworks? Material that normalizes and introduces children to sexualized, inappropriate, and pornographic curriculum.

What else? Recommendations that children learn how to hide abortions from their parents and instructions regarding how to put on a condom or utilize saran/plastic wrap instead.  It’s no wonder that curriculum of this nature increases promiscuity that leads to sexually transmitted diseases, abortions, and even heartache for children not ready for sexual relations. 

Parents and school districts deserve to be involved and have choices  regarding what their children are taught, rather than a one-size-fits-all, mandated  and extremely-liberal approach.   

We need to remind legislators today to keep sensitive topics out of the hands of liberal advocacy groups and bureaucrats. 

We urge you to tell your state representatives to oppose this state-dictated, one-size–fits–all mandate, and oppose ending local control of curriculum decisions.
